Description
‘Ornatus’
9W-YYR
[Poeticus]
(French origin; intro. Walker, J., c.1870)
This relatively large, early-flowering Poet first appeared at Covent Garden as a cut-flower from Paris circa 1870. Easy to force, with a rounded perianth and chalky lemon yellow corona with a closely ruffled, wire rim of coral crimson, it soon became popular.
