Description
‘Dunkeld’
2Y-O(a)
[Incomparabilis]
(Brodie, I.; seedling 114.E/29, ‘Seraglio’ × ‘Killigrew’, listed 1935)
A “fine flower” and “outstanding” (J.C. Mather, Commercial Production of Tulips and Daffodils, 1961), the burnt-orange, wide, bowl-shaped corona is shallow for a Div. 2. Unlike its parent, ‘Killigrew’, the corona rim is notched rather than ruffled.
