Very similar to ‘Empress’, but much rarer than that now in cultivation. ‘Horsfieldii’ perianth segments are more spreading, less hooded, and milk-white, not pure white; trumpet chiselled, a slightly richer yellow than ‘Empress’, but perhaps not as long or slender, and with a very slight bulge at the base.
