Description
‘Nissa’
2W-Y
[Incomparabilis 2b]
(Brodie, I., of Brodie, pre-1923; ‘Kingdom’ selfed)
A tidy, neat flower, with rounded, broadly ovate, slightly ribbed, overlapping milk-white perianth segments. The bold, stout, cylindrical corona of Dresden yellow has several slight, rounded ridges, with broad, shallow, concave troughs between. The corona scarcely flares towards the mouth, which expands and recurves abruptly at maturity to a neat rim regularly composed of ridged, crenate lobules. Height variable: sometimes the stems are of above average height; mid-season.
