Description
BALMACARA BEAUTY
2Y-YYO(a)
(unknown origin)
A lovely example of a late-flowering “Incomp” of the ‘Beauty’ ilk. The orange upper third of the surprisingly shallow, frilled, bowl-shaped corona shades to rich golden yellow. Very similar to ‘Beauty’, in which the central portion of the perianth segments becomes whitish: those of BALMACARA BEAUTY remain more yellow and the corona rim is more irregular and scalloped. Is probably ‘Aurantius’, the original single form of ‘Butter and Eggs’.
